Warranty and Support

We at SDigital provide a one year warranty service from the date of shipping on all products purchased directly from our website sdigital.co.

If a defect arises during the warranty period, we will free of charge either repair your product or exchange your product for a new or functionally new replacement instead. If for whatever reason we are unable to repair or replace your product, we may instead refund your purchase price, or at our discretion we may exchange your product for an equivalent or better product(s).

Our warranty covers hardware defects, may cover or partially covers software, and does not cover accessories and consumables such as chargers and plugs even if sold and/or packaged with the product. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, workmanship defects, and defects in the materials. It does not cover damage or defects arising out of misuse, industrial or commercial use, unauthorized repairs and/or modifications, accident, ordinary wear and tear, neglect, and external causes such as (although not limited to) extreme weather or environmental conditions. For more information on what our warranty does not cover, please refer to the non-exhaustive list in “What does our warranty does NOT cover?” below.

When repairing your product, we may use new parts or parts equivalent to new in functionality. Defective parts replaced in the repair process will become the property of SDigital.

How to make a Warranty claim

In order to help us help you, we kindly request that when you make a claim you first fill out our Warranty form and email it to us at support@sdigital.co. If you could also attach any pictures of the defect, it may help us fix your problem faster.

We will then try to identify the problem and assess whether or not we can actually assist you without the inconvenience of you having to send in your product. If unfortunately it seems that it is necessary for your product to be repaired by us, and the problem is covered by our warranty, we will send you a verification email and a support ticket number.

Once you have received the verification email, please arrange to ship your product, including all of its packaging and accompanying accessories, along with a copy of your invoice and a copy of the filled out Warranty form to the following address:

Please note that whilst you will have to arrange, insure and pay for the shipping of the defective product to us, we will arrange and cover the return of your repaired or replaced product.

What does our Warranty NOT cover?

Our warranty does not cover:

a) Damage through misuse, abuse, or accident,

b) Damage through negligence, such as but not limited to, improper storage, exposure to dangerous foreign damaging substances and stresses such as liquids, dirt, sand, and electromagnetic interference,

c) Ordinary wear and tear,

d) Cosmetic damage such as dents and scratches unless non-negligible and caused by us,

e) Damage caused by external causes such as but not limited to fire, theft, collision with external objects, extreme weather and environmental conditions such as but not limited to earthquakes, hurricanes and blizzards,

f) Losses sustained or arising out of use of the product(s) in a commercial or industrial context

g) Any loss of data or information stored on the product,

h) Products not purchased from our website.

 

Our warranty is voided when:

a) Unauthorized repairs or modifications have been made to the product,

b) The serial number has been altered, damaged or removed,

 

Please note that if you do not follow the instructions set out in our warranty policy, or you fill out the warranty form incorrectly, we may withhold or suspend your right to warranty at our discretion. So please take care when reading our instructions and filling out the form.

Our Return Policy

We have 15 Day Return Policy from the date of shipping on all products purchased from our website.

If you would like to return your product, please email and notify us within the 15 day period at support@sdigital.co so that we may make the necessary preparations. After informing us of your intention to return the product, please return the product, as new, in original packaging and accompanying accessories, along with a copy of your invoice.

For products purchased under special deals, the price on the invoice will be the one used, and any promotional items or gifts that accompanied your order must be returned as well.

Please note that you must arrange and pay for the return shipping of the product, and that you must bear the risks of loss during the return of the product. Please also note that a handling/restocking fee will be deducted from the invoice value.

Our Cancellation Policy

If you placed an order by mistake, or changed your mind about an order, please immediately email us at support@sdigital.co and inform us of your intention to cancel and we will try our best to cancel the order where possible. Orders that have already been shipped cannot be canceled, and must be returned instead. Details about our Return Policy can be found above. Please be aware that there may be a small bank handling deduction if we are able to arrange a refund for you.

If you are inquiring about an existing purchase or anything related to an existing purchase that you have made, please in your email quote your invoice number, date of purchase, the purchase amount, your full name and describe your query. We will get back to you as soon as possible, and inform you on how best the your problem or inquiry can be resolved.

OTHER THAN THE WARRANTIES REFERRED TO IN THIS WARRANTY DOCUMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SDIGITAL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ALTHOUGH NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY IN THIS DOCUMENT DO NOT APPLY TO DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANY MANDATORY LAW ON PRODUCT LIABILITY, FRAUD, MISREPRESENTATION, INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, OR MAJOR BREACHES OF CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS. THIS WARRANTY IS SEPARATE TO CONSUMER LAW. FOR DISPUTES PERTAINING TO THE EXPRESS ONE YEAR WARRANTY, SDIGITAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUSPEND OR WITHOLD THE WARRANTY AT THEIR DISCRETION.
